越前特漉 鳥の子三号紙
「ふすま紙といえば、鳥の子紙」そう言われるほど有名なふすま紙です。紙色が「鶏卵の殻」に似ていることから、この名がつけられたと言われています。「本鳥の子」はその中でも、手漉きのもの。三号とは、三椏、麻、パルプを使用した鳥の子紙の号数です。
Echizen Handmade Torinoko No. 3
Known as the quintessential fusuma paper, "Torinoko Paper" derives its name from its resemblance to "egg shell." Among these, "Hon-Torinoko" is handmade, and No. 3 indicates Torinoko paper made with mitsumata, hemp, and pulp.
